Cementing Scales
Cementing Sclaes is a project based on a poem by poet Elizabeth Bishop ' At The Fish Houses'. A descriptive, detailed poem describing a man sitting at a fish house netting. With descriptions like creamy iridescent, Molly has produced a collection of tiles and surfaces exploring the materials concrete and resin. Molly has explored embedding and submerging materials mentioned and linking to the poem and the theme of the project. Aslo experimenting with colouring both concrete and resin using inks and dyes and then onto combinding the two materials together.
